SPONSORSHIP

Proceeds benefit the awareness work of Freedom to Thrive around the Southeast and scholarships for the “Escape 2010” European trafficking convention. Our 3-5 year goal is to augment and build aftercare facilities and resources to serve victims of human trafficking in the southeastern United States and feeder countries.

Trafficking in persons involves the use of force and deception to sell humans into slavery and bondage, particularly in prostitution.  Millions of people are victims of human trafficking. Although victims are forced to work for no pay, billions of dollars are generated in profits by the perpetrators. This form of injustice is a horrific example of man’s inhumanity towards man.

All riders are responsible to get themselves to/from the trail, but if you are interested to carpool, please check the last box in the registration form and we will see if any shared rides can be arranged.

We encourage all riders to seek sponsors for their ride, on a per mile basis.  If you want to ride 10 miles west with us and turn around, great!  If you want to go the whole 61 miles to the border, see you there!
